Job Description

As an Allied Health Professional (Physiotherapist), you will work closely with a diverse patient population in Port Elizabeth. You will apply your skills to assess physical needs and develop individualized treatment plans, focusing on promoting mobility and improving functional outcomes for each patient.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient readiness for rehabilitation and establish treatment plans.
  • Monitor effectiveness of treatment plans and modify them as necessary.
  • Engage patients in their own rehabilitation by educating them about exercises and self-management techniques.
  • Foster a supportive environment to encourage patient progress and recovery.
  • Identify and address any specific challenges patients may face during their therapy.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant clinical experience
