Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse patients.
• Assist in the coordination of patient services.
• Perform physical exams and health assessments.
• engage actively in discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Conduct health assessments and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional support to patients in distress.
• Educate patients about medications and treatment plans.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in specializations such as ER or ICU: Advanced certifications in critical care or emergency nursing.
• Fluency in Afrikaans or Xhosa: Ability to communicate effectively in local languages.
