Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented Data Scientist to join our Johannesburg-based analytics team. Your role will involve interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports. You’ll work closely with management to identify opportunities for process improvement with a focus on smart data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
• Analyze large volumes of data to derive insights.
• Create visualizations to help interpret analytical results.
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand their data requirements.
• Conduct experiments to understand the effects of various factors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Master's or PhD preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
