Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Aerospace Engineer to join our talented team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and developing advanced aerospace systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and materials used in aerospace applications. You will play an integral role in the development of cutting-edge aerospace technologies and ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering design projects from concept to completion.
  • Evaluate the environmental impact of designs.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies for compliance.
  • Mentor interns and new staff members in engineering practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing for production feasibility.
  • Document all engineering processes and improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree in relevant engineering discipline is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years in aerospace design and testing
