Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technical support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring our IT systems are running efficiently. Responsibilities

• Provide support for various operating systems and applications.
• Work with third-party vendors to resolve escalated issues.
• Ensure IT security protocols are adhered to.
• Train users on new software and tools.
• Participate in IT team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related fields
• Certifications in CompTIA Network+ or similar are preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in a helpdesk or technical support environment

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Help Desk Software

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in cloud computing solutions: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
