Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and automation tools. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts.
• Oversee cloud security and ensure data protection policies are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new tools and technologies.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of applications.
• Assist in the migration of legacy applications to cloud platforms.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in the DevOps team.
• Prepare reports on system performance and propose enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices in DevOps.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or IT operations role
