Job Description

As a Mining Engineer with us, you will apply your technical expertise to optimize mining processes and enhance productivity. You will also be tasked with conducting feasibility studies and developing strategic plans that align with our sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mining processes that enhance safety and productivity.
• Coordinate with various departments to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
• Prepare project proposals and reports for stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior engineering staff.
• Review and validate geological reports and data.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Lead investigations of accidents and incidents to promote a safe work environment.
• Engage with local communities regarding mining activities and impact.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the mining industry

• Geotechnical Analysis
• Mining Software (e.g., MineSight, Surfer)
