Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Mining Engineer to oversee and improve mining operations in Kimberley. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing mining plans and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires individuals who are eager to contribute to sustainable practices and optimize productivity in mining activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of mining plans and processes.
• Liaise with local stakeholders to ensure community engagement.
• Monitor and report on mining progress to senior management.
• Implement health and safety programs for site employees.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology
• Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in mining operations

Languages

• English: Fluent
