Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Stockroom Manager to oversee our stockroom operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient stock flow, and leading a team to maintain high standards of organization and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Establish stockroom goals and objectives to achieve operational efficiency.
• Manage and update inventory records in the database.
• Utilize technology to streamline stock management processes.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
• Conduct performance reviews for stockroom staff.
• Develop and implement training programs for ongoing skills development.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Degree in Retail Management or Logistics preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in retail stock management

Technical Skills

• ERP Systems
• Stock Auditing Techniques

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of retail merchandising: Understanding merchandising strategies to maximize stock turnover.
• Experience with supply chain logistics: Experience in managing logistics within a retail supply chain.
