Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Durban location. You will be responsible for managing medication therapies, offering health advice to our patients, and conducting health screenings as part of our innovative healthcare service.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications in compliance with established protocols.
• Perform health screenings as part of wellness checks.
• Contribute to the continuity of care for chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate and meticulous patient records.
• Assist in research and development for pharmacists' clinical practices.
• Advise on the selection of medication formulary in conjunction with physicians.
• Coordinate with insurers regarding medication coverage and patient benefits.
• Act as a consultant for medication safety issues.
• Manage pharmacy operations effectively to enhance patient care.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with pharmacogenomics: Knowledge of genetic influence on drug response is beneficial.
• Advanced certification in medication therapy management: Advanced training in medication management may be an advantage.
