Responsibilities

• Examine X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and cleanings.
• Provide emergency dental care when needed.
• Instruct patients on proper oral care.
• Keep abreast of new developments in dentistry.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust treatments accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in dental practice

Technical Skills

• Oral Diagnosis
• Restorative Dentistry

• Patient Communication
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with digital dentistry tools: Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems and digital x-rays.
