Job Description

We are seeking a Radio Tester to ensure optimal functionality and performance of our radio equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough tests and analyses on radio systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive testing services to identify equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure that radio equipment meets the necessary quality standards.
• Train and mentor junior staff on testing protocols and equipment use.
• Create and maintain testing schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Report significant findings to senior management for decision-making.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field
• Higher qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in radio equipment testing

Technical Skills

• Testing equipment proficiency
• Software skills

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking

Certifications

• South African RF Certification
• Advanced Certification in Electronics

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Wi-Fi testing standards: Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi technologies and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of current telecommunications technologies: Staying ahead of industry trends and technologies in the telecommunications field.
