Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, therapy, and support to individuals facing mental health challenges. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostics for both domestic and exotic animals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians on complex cases.
• Educate pet owners about disease prevention and health management.
• Assist in training and mentoring veterinary interns and assistants.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Ensure clinic compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Lead initiatives to improve clinic practices and patient outcomes.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies for the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• D.V.M. or equivalent degree in Veterinary Medicine

Experience

• 3+ years working with diverse animal species preferred
