We are seeking a passionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, therapy, and support to individuals facing mental health challenges. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate animals' health and formulate treatment plans.
• Engage in direct client communication regarding treatment options.
• Lead surgical procedures and manage anesthesia effectively.
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment and team culture.
• Participate in clinical research to enhance veterinary practices.
• Work with local shelters for animal care and adoptions.
• Foster partnerships within the veterinary community.
• Advocate for animal welfare and ethical standards in practice.
• Monitor post-operative care and adjust treatments as needed.
• Support a team-based approach to patient care.

Requirements

Education

• D.V.M. or equivalent degree in Veterinary Medicine

Experience

• 3+ years working with diverse animal species preferred
