Responsibilities

• Plan and implement nursing care for patients across various departments.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety.
• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care instructions.
• Support emotional and psychological needs of patients and families.
• Contribute to nursing research and development projects.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Post-basic qualification in Critical Care Nursing is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Intermediate

• Leadership experience: Experience in mentoring junior staff or leading nursing teams.
