Environmental Engineer

Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving existing environmental systems and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations in the Cape Town region. Ideal candidates will be proactive thinkers with a commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze the environmental impact of projects and recommend improvements.
• Draft and review environmental policy documents and reports.
• Engage in fieldwork including air and water sampling to gather data.
• Investigate and rectify environmental compliance issues.
• Educate clients and stakeholders about environmental regulations and best practices.
• Work with community groups to promote sustainable initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field

Experience

• 2-5 years in environmental engineering roles or relevant experience.
