We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in structural design principles, innovative thinking, and project management. You will be responsible for leading projects from conception through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering sustainable and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain relationships with clients during the design and construction phases.
• Ensure adherence to engineering codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Check and approve project blueprints and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle for all engineering aspects.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders to update progress and address potential issues.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Structural Analysis Software

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration
