Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Research Scientist to join our progressive team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will focus on scientific writing, conducting research, and compiling reports that contribute to cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage research projects with a focus on delivering results.
• Author scientific papers and collaborate with other scientists for publications.
• Engage in outreach activities to disseminate research findings.
• Ensure accurate data collection and analysis throughout research studies.
• Mentor junior researchers and offer guidance on best practices.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance project impact.
• Contribute to the development of research proposals and funding applications.
• Assess and perform literature reviews to inform current research activities.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Life Sciences or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in scientific research or writing
