Control Operator

Job Description

The Control Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the operations of various machinery and equipment. Ensure that operations are running smoothly and safely, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and rectify any deviations from normal operation.
• Communicate with team members for effective coordination.
• Maintain detailed records of operational parameters.
• Assist with process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Formal training in nuclear operations is preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field

Technical Skills

• Experience with specialized machinery
• IT proficiency

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Certifications

• Nuclear Safety Awareness Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment: Familiarity with operational processes in similar industries.
• Additional certifications in machinery operations: Any further qualifications that enhance operational capabilities.
