Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing environmental regulations and implementing strategies to ensure compliance while promoting sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental risks associated with construction and operational activities.
• Implement and maintain environmental monitoring programs.
• Work closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Design and lead training sessions for staff on environmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists on sustainability projects.
• Evaluate new technologies for enhancing environmental performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related technical discipline
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the environmental field, with a focus on engineering solutions
