Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medication, advising patients on health matters, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role demands excellent communication skills, in-depth pharmaceutical knowledge, and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
  • Support the management of pharmacy operations, focusing on efficiency and quality.
  • Provide immunization services as per scope of practice.
  • Develop educational materials for patients regarding medication management.
  • Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor treatment adherence.
  • Assist in the implementation of health initiatives and campaigns within the pharmacy.
  • Engage in community outreach programs promoting health and wellness.
  • Lead pharmacy staff meetings and contribute to team development.
  • Implement and uphold best practices in pharmacy operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
  • Additional certifications in immunization preferred
Experience
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy is a plus
