Responsibilities

  • Dispense and verify prescriptions according to regulations.
  • Advise patients on health care products and services.
  • Collaborate with doctors and other health professionals on patient care.
  • Educate patients regarding medication adherence and lifestyle modifications.
  • Develop and implement patient care programs.
  • Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy is advantageous
Experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant pharmacy experience.

  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
