Job Description

As the Uranium Processing Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our uranium processing plant, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing production processes. Your technical expertise and leadership will be essential in training and developing staff while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the processing team to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for uranium processing.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
  • Provide training for new staff and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Ensure all safety inspections and audits are completed.
  • Address any incidents or irregularities promptly to minimize risk.
  • Contribute to the development of budget forecasts and resource allocation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
  • Interface with management to report on processing performance and improvements.
  • Establish metrics for evaluating plant performance and staff productivity.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Additional certifications in safety are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in uranium processing with supervisory experience preferred
