We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician based in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing technical issues, supporting hardware and software, and addressing client inquiries effectively.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Respond to IT support tickets and queries in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software.
Maintain IT documentation including system configurations and procedures.
Assist in network support and management.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on IT systems.
Train staff on new technologies and software applications.
Assist in managing backup and recovery processes.
Ensure security protocols are adhered to.
Requirements
Education
Diploma in IT or Computer Science
Relevant IT certifications preferred (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified)

1-3 years of experience in IT support roles
