We are on the lookout for a dynamic Blockchain Developer to join our team in Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for blockchain technology and a desire to create innovative solutions that drive business success. The successful candidate will have experience in developing distributed applications and smart contracts, with a strong understanding of blockchain protocols and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architectural design of blockchain solutions.
• Implement best practices for smart contract development and auditing.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Participate in technical support and troubleshooting for blockchain applications.
• Prepare reports and documentation on project progress and results.
• Engage with external partners to explore new blockchain solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Advanced degree in Software Engineering or similar is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in blockchain application development

Technical Skills

• Smart Contracts
• Hyperledger Fabric

Certifications

• Blockchain Certification from recognized institutions

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices.
