Job Description

As an Instrument Maker at Precision Instruments Ltd., you'll be tasked with designing, building, and repairing precision instruments used across various sectors including scientific research and medical applications. You'll work with a team of skilled professionals to ensure our instruments meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and calibrate precision instruments according to specifications.
• Conduct quality control tests to ensure products meet required standards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on instruments.
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve product functionality.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Train junior staff in instrument assembly and maintenance.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for safety and quality.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or degree in engineering or a related field
• Apprenticeship or vocational training in precision engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in precision engineering and instrument making
