Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics, inventory management, and fostering relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily management of supply chain operations and logistics.
• Design and implement effective supply chain strategies.
• Oversee the management of inventory and optimize stock levels.
• Forge strong relationships with suppliers to enhance procurement.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and report on trends in supply chain performance.
• Work with other departments to synchronize supply chain initiatives.
• Report on supply chain efficiency to upper management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• MBA in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain roles

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
