Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems, working closely with other engineers to ensure projects meet all technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and a passion for innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Execute design calculations and prepare reports.
• Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of technical bids and proposals.
• Work with suppliers to ensure quality materials and components.
• Engage in research and development for new electrical technologies.
• Implement testing protocols to ensure system reliability.
• Encourage safety practices within the workplace.
• Document changes and maintain accurate records of project changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
