We are searching for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Your expertise will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and develop specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with clients to understand their mechanical engineering needs.
• Maintain accurate records of design and development processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• MATLAB

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Professional Engineer (CPE)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Familiarity with CAD software for creating and modifying designs.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Understanding of fabrication and assembly processes.
