We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management, showcasing their ability to implement effective strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure a seamless workflow from supplier to customer.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.
• Coordinate with the sales team to align operations with customer delivery expectations.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to align supply chain strategy with business goals.
• Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize processes.
• Enhance supply chain visibility and transparency to stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration for improved operations.
• Lead projects aimed at process improvement and cost reduction.
• Report on KPIs and make recommendations to senior management based on findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• MBA with a focus on Supply Chain Management is highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain roles
