Job Description

We are seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems to support our company’s operations. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure a secure and efficient network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Draft detailed project plans and schedules for electrical installations.
• Perform condition assessments and audits on existing systems.
• Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality work.
• Research and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare cost analyses and feasibility reports for electrical projects.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for staff on new tools and technologies.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and oversee repairs of electrical systems.
• Respond to client inquiries and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Maintain project documentation and correspondence.
• Ensure sustainable practices are implemented in all electrical projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in relevant engineering projects

• Electrical Safety Compliance Certification
