We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable engineering solutions to address environmental challenges. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations while promoting sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure sustainable design.
• Conduct feasibility studies for sustainable projects.
• Provide expert advice to clients on environmental best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate project outcomes against environmental standards.
• Prepare grant applications and funding proposals for environmental projects.
• Engage with local communities to promote environmental awareness.
• Assist in the development of corporate sustainability policies.
• Maintain relationships with environmental regulatory agencies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental engineering or related field

Technical Skills

• Environmental Management Systems
• Environmental Impact Assessment

Languages

• Afrikaans: Fluent
