Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will contribute to various environmental projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainability initiatives. You will be responsible for assessing environmental impact, developing strategies for minimization and remediation, and collaborating with governmental and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental monitoring and assessment activities.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate environmental management in projects.
  • Advocate for sustainable environmental policies at local levels.
  • Implement environmentally-friendly technologies and methods.
  • Facilitate workshops on environmental awareness and sustainability.
  • Liaise with government bodies for compliance and regulatory clearances.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or similar
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in environmental engineering or related sectors
