Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. As the first line of support, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for end-users, ensuring seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology, providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial point of contact for IT-related inquiries.
  • Perform troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Assist with software installations and updates.
  • Provide input for the improvement of IT processes and procedures.
  • Ensure backups are conducted regularly and data is secure.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff on projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science or IT-related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role
