Responsibilities

• Assess risk factors that may affect policy coverage and rates.
• Develop and implement underwriting procedures to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide necessary information for client quotes.
• Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends and adjust underwriting practices.
• Engage in training and continuing education to remain current with industry regulations.
• Provide technical assistance and support to junior underwriters.
• Contribute to the development of new insurance products based on market needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Specialized insurance qualifications preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the insurance field

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
