We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, administering medications, and assisting with medical procedures. You will work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily nursing duties in a clinical setting.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments.
• Assist with patient mobility and rehabilitation exercises.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nursing Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in nursing, ideally in critical care or emergency settings

Technical Skills

• IV Therapy
• Wound Care

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR): Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient patient documentation.
• Advanced certification in specialized fields: Such as critical care, gerontology or public health.
