We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess a strong expertise in identifying vulnerabilities, developing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with clients to implement the latest cybersecurity measures and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities in hardware and software systems.
• Craft cybersecurity frameworks and best practice guidelines for clients.
• Lead cybersecurity awareness training initiatives.
• Monitor security alerts and respond promptly to incidents.
• Evaluate new security tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives.
• Document security processes and protocols.
• Provide strategic recommendations to enhance security posture.
• Engage in regular communication with clients about their security needs.
• Contribute to the development of a cybersecurity incident response plan.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
