We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our friendly team in Cape Town. Your expertise will be vital in creating tailored rehabilitation programs, working collaboratively with other health professionals to ensure holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and synthesize patient data.
• Develop and modify intervention strategies based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure holistic patient care.
• Document treatment plans and progress notes accurately.
• Educate and empower patients to set and achieve personal goals.
• Involve family members in the therapeutic process when appropriate.
• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on occupational therapy experience

• Rehabilitation Programs
• Adaptive Equipment

Certifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in geriatric therapy: Experience in working with elderly patients for rehabilitation.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
