Responsibilities

• Develop tailored travel itineraries that cater to client preferences.
• Negotiate with travel suppliers to obtain the best rates.
• Coordinate group travel arrangements and logistics.
• Promote travel packages through various marketing channels.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel policies and regulations.
• Utilize travel booking software effectively.
• Participate in travel fairs and exhibitions to promote services.
• Follow up with clients post-trip to ensure satisfaction.
• Suggest upsell opportunities for additional services.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance client experiences.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Tourism or Hospitality
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a travel agency or related field

Technical Skills

• GDS Systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre)
• Social Media Marketing

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Travel Consultant (CTC)
• IATA-UFTAA Foundation Course Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
