Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive financial models to forecast revenues and expenses.
• Provide insights into financial trends to support senior management.
• Assist in audits and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Liaise with external auditors during financial reviews.
• Assist in risk management and assessment of financial risks.
• Participate in the execution of financial strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Certifications in financial analysis or investment management are preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)

• Power BI
• SQL

Certifications

• AFC (Associate Financial Analyst)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge in tax regulations: Familiarity with South African tax laws and reporting requirements.
