Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will manage shipments, track inventory, and ensure timely deliveries, contributing to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute effective logistics strategies across the supply chain.
• Conduct risk assessments to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Evaluate and select transportation providers to enhance service levels.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations.
• Lead training sessions for new logistics staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in logistics or operations roles

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Optimization
• Transport Management Systems (TMS)

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a fast-paced logistics environment: Experience in handling high-volume logistics operations.
• Bilingual skills in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans enhances customer relations.
