Job Description

We're on the lookout for a passionate Architect to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role will involve designing residential and commercial spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural project teams through all phases of project development.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout the design process.
• Evaluate and implement sustainable design solutions.
• Provide mentorship to junior architects and design staff.
• Create and present project proposals to potential clients.
• Stay updated with the latest architectural trends and technologies.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of design projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and project management

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• BIM Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Professional Architect Registration
• Sustainable Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in 3D rendering software: Experience with tools like Lumion or V-Ray for architectural visualizations.
• Skills in urban planning: Experience or knowledge in urban design and planning processes.
