Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time.
• Advise clients on tax strategies, implications, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on legislative changes.
• Assist in tax audits and resolve tax disputes effectively.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain tax documentation and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on taxation matters.
• Evaluate clients' operations to recommend tax-saving strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax advisory services

Certifications

• SAIT Membership (South African Institute of Taxation)
