Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our logistics operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes and a strong track record of implementing best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs. You will lead a dedicated team, manage supplier relationships, and ensure optimal inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor the supply chain operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of supply chain processes.
  • Implement inventory tracking and forecasting models.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supply chain budgets and report on financial performance.
  • Facilitate communication between departments regarding supply chain issues.
  • Investigate and resolve supply chain disruptions and discrepancies.
  • Promote sustainability practices within the supply chain.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Logistics
  • MBA or equivalent is a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain roles
