Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and have a strong understanding of inventory management and logistics. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to implement effective supply chain strategies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality and pricing.
• Optimize transportation and logistics strategies for cost savings.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and vendors.
• Implement advanced technology solutions for supply chain management.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on supply chain performance.
• Mentor and train junior supply chain staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
• MBA or related postgraduate study is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
