Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer, you will oversee projects aimed at minimizing environmental impacts and enhancing community engagement in East London. This position allows you to leverage your engineering expertise to foster cleaner and healthier ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze data from environmental impact studies.
  • Develop and implement sustainability programs tailored to community needs.
  • Participate in public hearings and community meetings to discuss projects.
  • Support the organization in meeting its environmental policy objectives.
  • Work with engineering teams to incorporate sustainable practices into design.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on environmental best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Master’s degree is an advantage
