We are seeking a Renewable Energy Consultant passionate about the environment and sustainability. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients to assess their energy needs and propose innovative solutions aimed at increasing energy efficiency and transitioning to renewable sources. This position is ideal for someone who possesses strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of the renewable energy market.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy audits for diverse clients across sectors.
• Develop project proposals for renewable energy installations.
• Collaborate with local authorities to facilitate project approvals.
• Assess the life-cycle impacts of renewable energy technologies.
• Provide insights into financial incentives for renewable energy adoption.
• Integrate innovative technologies into client projects.
• Support clients in achieving sustainability certifications.
• Create awareness campaigns on renewable energy benefits.
• Foster partnerships with other organizations in the renewable sector.
• Act as a mentor for junior consultants in the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental Studies
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy consulting

Certifications

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
