Job Description

As a Planting Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing planting operations within our dedicated team. Your role will involve coordinating activities, training staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations to cultivate a productive planting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planting teams to achieve high-quality execution of planting tasks.
  • Establish and update standard operating procedures for planting operations.
  • Ensure the compliance of planting processes with industry standards.
  • Manage inventory of seeds and planting materials efficiently.
  • Actively participate in budget planning and resource allocation for planting projects.
  • Evaluate planting strategies and suggest improvements based on results.
  • Develop training programs for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Engage with external suppliers and stakeholders for materials and expertise.
  • Maintain health and safety standards within the plantation area.
  • Implement sustainability practices in planting to minimize environmental impact.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in agriculture or horticulture preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role in planting operations.
