Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Space Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing retail environments that enhance customer experiences and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction processes to ensure adherence to designs.
• Create detailed visualisation boards and presentations for client meetings.
• Develop and manage design project schedules and budgets.
• Research and source sustainable design materials and products.
• Incorporate technology into store designs where relevant.
• Design promotional displays and in-store marketing elements.
• Liaise with marketing teams to align store design with promotional strategies.
• Promote a collaborative work environment by engaging with team members.
• Provide support during installations and ensure quality control.
• Document design processes and outcomes for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or a related field
• Certification in retail design preferred

Experience

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
