Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop interior architecture for various projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision.
• Create 3D models and mock-ups to visualize designs.
• Manage project workflow and resources efficiently.
• Adapt designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Oversee contractor work and ensure project quality.
• Compile project reports and documentation.
• Encourage sustainability within design approaches.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced design staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in interior design or a similar position

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• 3D Rendering Software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registered Interior Designer (RID)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local building regulations: In-depth knowledge of Western Cape building codes.
• Ability to manage project teams: Experience leading small teams on projects.
