Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Payment Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking and collecting payments from customers to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Responsibilities

  • Contact customers with outstanding accounts and remind them of their payment obligations.
  • Assist customers in understanding their statements and invoices.
  • Analyze customer payment history to tailor collection strategies.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure payment commitments are met.
  • Prepare weekly reports detailing collection progress and pending accounts.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to monitor interactions and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certification or diploma in finance or accounting is a plus
Experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in payment collection or a related field
